Green Advantage Pilot

The CF Grenville Green Advantage Pilot is designed to help small and medium-sized businesses turn sustainability into a strategic business advantage.
Community Futures Grenville has partnered with Green Economy Canada (GEC) to support a pilot cohort of local businesses through a structured process that includes an emissions inventory, action planning, and implementation support. Participating businesses will receive expert guidance, practical tools, and financial assistance to help identify opportunities for improved efficiency, cost savings, and future growth.
This pilot is about helping local businesses become stronger, more competitive, and better prepared for the opportunities and expectations of tomorrow's economy.
What Participating Businesses Receive
Businesses selected for the pilot will receive:
- Cost-shared Green Economy Canada membership; your investment of $750 is matched by CF Grenville
- Access to Green Economy Canada's proven carbon accounting tools
- A comprehensive greenhouse gas emissions inventory
- One-on-one coaching and technical support
- A customized action plan to identify efficiency improvements and emissions reduction opportunities
- Access to workshops, resources, and a network of like-minded businesses
- Financing opportunities through Community Futures Grenville to help implement eligible projects and initiatives

How the Pilot Works
Summer 2026
Step 1: Apply to Express your Interest
Sign up to express your interest via our online intake by August 28, 2026.
Fall 2026
Step 2: Join the Cohort
Selected businesses receive cost-shared membership in Green Economy Canada which unlocks access to tools, resources, and expert support.
Step 3: Measure Your Impact
Work with Green Economy Canada to complete an emissions inventory and gain a clear understanding of your organization's environmental footprint.
Step 4: Develop Your Action Plan
Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, reduce costs, strengthen competitiveness, and reduce emissions through a customized action plan.
Winter 2026-27
Step 5: Implement Improvements
Access financing and support from Community Futures Grenville to help implement projects and initiatives identified through the planning process. The EcoFutures Loan is available for amounts up to $300,000 with flexible terms and favourable rates to support businesses implementing energy efficiency and emissions reduction projects.

The CF Grenville Green Advantage Pilot is intended for small and medium-sized businesses located in CF Grenville’s service area (North Grenville, Edwardsburgh Cardinal, Augusta, Prescott) that are interested in:
- Improving operational efficiency
- Reducing costs
- Strengthening competitiveness
- Meeting evolving customer or supply chain requirements
- Identifying opportunities for growth and innovation
- Building long-term business resilience
Limited Spaces Available
The CF Grenville Green Advantage Pilot will support a small cohort of participating businesses. Applications will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis, subject to eligibility and cohort capacity.
