Upon completion of the eight-week workshop session,
you will have accomplished the following:
- determined your entrepreneurial potential
- developed a personal financial plan
- analyzed your personal credit rating
- evaluated your financial capacity and net worth
- completed a market study
- evaluated the competitive environment
- determined the marketability of your business idea
- determined a pricing strategy
- developed an advertising and promotion strategy
- developed a cash flow forecast
- measured and evaluated your business goals and objectives
through sound financial analysis using pro forma financial
statements
- developed the skills necessary to develop and analyze
monthly business progress reports
- developed a business plan
- gained an understanding of the importance of professional
advice from lawyers, accountants and bankers
- gained an understanding of the resources available
in your community to support you during the start-up
and operation phases of your business
- developed a personal network of small business owners
who will assist you in achieving your business goals.
