GCFDC offers the following Collaborative Projects Program which is open for applications for projects ending on or before January 31st, 2014.

Applications will be accepted according to monthly deadlines until annual program budget allocations are fully committed.  Please allow 4-6 weeks for application processing.

The Collaborative Projects Program objective is to support strategic projects that involve and benefit multiple CFDC areas and multiple communities resulting in high impact business development, partnership development and community innovation initiatives that lead to strengthened linkages between urban and rural areas and a competitive and diversified regional economy within Eastern Ontario. Projects will involve investments from two or more CFDCs. Legal commercial entities including individuals, corporations, partnerships, cooperatives or trusts, and groups, alliances or associations and not-for-profit organizations including municipalities, municipal organizations, corporations, community development organizations, associations and Aboriginal organizations where the lead applicant is located in and/or represents business interests, business enterprises or the business community in Augusta, Edwardsburgh/Cardinal, North Grenville, and/or Prescott  are eligible to apply. All CFDCs combined may contribute up to 50% of eligible project costs up to a combined total maximum contribution of $100,000 per project, excluding HST, for private sector businesses.  Each CFDC may contribute up to 100% of eligible project costs up to a maximum of $100,000 per CFDC, to a combined maximum total contribution of $1.5 Million per project, excluding HST, for not-for-profit organizations. Projects demonstrating one (1) job impacted per $10,000 contribution and the presence of leveraged funds will be given priority. Apply here.
